The Caroline Church of Brookhaven in Setauket has received a second matching grant from the Robert David Lion Gardiner Foundation.  The grant will cover the cost of replacing a cedar roof on the church’s 1887 Carriage Shed. Constructed by seven parishioners, and still standing in its original location on church property, it is one of the four contributing structures on the New York State and National Register of Historic Properties Designation, which the church received in 1991.
