Fire Island– The Fire Island Preservation Society has been awarded a matching grant of $7,450.00 from the Robert David Lion Gardiner Foundation to support the new interactive software display in the Keeper’s Quarters Museum. “The Lighthouse In Time” display will detail the history of the Fire Island Lighthouse in an interactive program with a 27 inch monitor.
