The new interactive software display will highlight the displays in the First Order Fresnel Lens Building that is alongside the Fire Island Lighthouse.  The display will consist of three touch screen monitors explaining and visualizing how the Fresnel Lens functions. The Light works display will include a set of movable lens that can be tuned and positioned to bend and focus the lens light.  The display will also provide an interactive digital model of the gear train that drives the Fresnel lens producing the signatory flash.
